Day 2
Half day cruise on the Danube Delta with lunch on board. In the afternoon, we drive to the nearby town of Braila, hotel 3* and dinner.
Day 3
Profesional visit of a private company, under French management: cereals, seeds etc… Continuing our way to the wine region of Prahova , with wine tasting in a winery run by an English company. At the end of the afternoon , we reach the winter resort of Poiana Brasov, accommodation hotel 4* and dinner in a traditional restaurant.
Day 4
We are today in Transylvania, driving through pastel coloured Saxon villages with fortified churches. We do a pause in the village of Saschiz to meet the members of the Adept association assisting peasant to deal with new rules of the European community as well as promoting rural tourism and ecotourism. Lunch in a local bistro and visit of villagers homes. Arriving in the afternoon in Tirgu-Mures, city with Austro-Hungarian architecture. Dinner and night hotel 3*for the next 2 nights.
Day 5
Day in Tirgu-Mures area, in the center of the country for professional visits, cattle farming, dairy products in all the region and visiting a village where the European agriculture policy is still something abstract, villagers still living on self subsisting farming. Lunch with villagers in the village hall , and return to Tirgu-Mures. Dinner and night.
Day 6
Meeting this morning with the representatives of a farmer’s association assisting its members to get access to European funds. Then we head towards the village of Ganesti for lunch and wine tasting of the area white wines, Riesling type. On our way , in the afternoon , we go through Sibiu , time for visit this beautiful town, and by the narrow Olt valley , we arrive in the small thermal resort of Baile Govora, dinner and accommodation hotel 3*. The hotel spa is at our disposal.
Day 7
Return to Bucharest , and on our way , in Pitesti, we have the opportunity to visit the Renault Dacia factory. Lunch . Arriving in the afternoon in Bucharest. Sightseeing tour of the capital city and dinner with folk music and dances in a restaurant in the green belt of the city. Night hotel 3*.
Day 8
Visit of the Parliament , or” Ceausescu’s Palace”, airport.
