Day 1
Arrive in Bucharest. Transfer to the city center and accommodation hotel 3*or 4* dinner in town.
Day 2
Short sightseeing tour of the city and we go in direction of Curtea de Arges, at the foothills of Southern Carpathians, visit of the Byzantine monastery, lunch in a local restaurant. Continuing towards SIBIU, that was European capital of Culture in 2007. Visit of this city, one of the prettiest of the country. Dinner in a traditional restaurant and accommodation hotel 4*.
Day 3
A day in Saxon Transylvania, with villages of pastel colours and impressive fortified churches like Biertan. Lunch at Sighisoara and visit of the medieval citadel where Vlad the Impaler or..Dracula was born. Arriving at the end of afternoon in TIRGU-MURES, city with Art-Nouveau architecture. Dinner and night hotel 3*.
Day 4
Change of region, going from Transylvania to Moldova through Eastern Carpathians and the Borgo pass mentioned in the Bram Stoker’s novel. Lunch en route and evening in the town of CIMPULUNG MOLDOVENESC. Dinner and night hotel 3*.
Day 5
The day of the monasteries , Unesco world Heritage , as Voronet, Moldovita, and Sucevita. Lunch in a local farmhouse and return to same hotel.
Day 6
Return in Transylvania through the impressive Bicaz canyon and the Red Lake,where we have lunch. We arrive in the winter resort of Poiana Brasov. Dinner in a traditional restaurant and night hotel 4*.
Day 7
Visit of the old own of Brasov, the Kronstadt of the Saxon knights and visit of the Bran castle, called the Dracula castle. Continuing to Sinaia , that was the favorite summer place of the Romanian aristocracy at the beginning 20th century and visit of the baroque and beautiful Peles castle. Arriving in Bucharest , c/in hotel 3* and festive dinner with folklore music and dances.
Day 8
According to flight time, free time and transfer airport.
