Day 1
Arrive in Bucharest. The airport being in the North of the city , we head directly to the Prahova Valley , at the foothills of Southern Carpathians. We arrive in the narrow valley of Moeciu and are welcome by Daniela in her pension, where we’ll stay the next 3 nights.

Day 1
Arrive in Bucharest, accommodation hotel Opera or Venezia right in the center of the city.

WILDLIFE IN TRANSYLVANIA

The Carpathian Mountains form a majestic sweeping arc that rise in Slovakia and pass east along the Polish border before turning south into Ukraine and finally Romania. They are a relatively young chain, an eastern extension of the Alps which rose around 60 million years ago and are still growing to this day.

This small country between Romania and Ukraine, has 4 million inhabitants, and 20 times smaller than France. For five thousand years the vine is cultivated here, but it is the Russians who, in the nineteenth century, laid the foundations of modern viticulture.
